Les Deeses de Azzedine Alaia (in English; The Godesses of Azzedine Alaïa) is a film which celebrates the life and work of Alaïa. Using non-linear story telling techniques and sequences of abstraction the film playfully weaves between different influences and moments, revealing and then hiding imagery, staying true to Alaïa’s reputation as the enigma of fashion.

Les Deeses de Azzedine Alaia was made using cut out water colour and link illustrations, collaged with real materials. The film was commissioned by Another magazine in advance of Alaïa's major retrospective in at the Palais Galliera Paris 2013. See there anothermag.com article here.

Screened at the Milan Fashion Film festival 2014.
